Methodical Development
RAB Management is a real estate infill advisory company founded in 2003. RAB has overseen all phases of conceptualization, land acquisition, project design, rezoning, entitlements, land development, vertical construction, property conversions and marketing projects of differing magnitudes. As RAB Builders we develop profitable projects with our project formula. Rolando Benitez
Success-driven business strategist, consultant, senior executive, and managing partner with over 37 years of experience in Real Estate and Project Financing, Rolando Benitez has consistently thrived in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to drive revenue, profit, and market share growth.
Passion and persistence work at the core of Benitez’s driving force, exemplified by his efforts with the Federal Housing Administration. Then twenty years old, Rolando Benitez walked into their offices and, with a handwritten list of reasons, explained why the established lending guidelines were inadequate for the Hispanic community. His steadfast demeanor and trademark persistence hurdled his suggested changes to reform the FHA for the Hispanic Community; creating accessibility to not only Home Ownership, but the American Dream.
As a Loan Officer, Rolando worked diligently to make his customers feel valued as individuals and not as mere loan applicants. His spot loan production grew to more than sixty loan originations monthly. In no time, he became a partner at American Trust Mortgage, infusing his core values into the company. With the help of Rolando’s efforts, the company soon
ranked number one in the Nation in FHA loan origination for minority first-time homebuyers; an impressive feat considering that the other front-runners were National Lenders whose resources and advertising budgets greatly exceeded that of American Trust.
In 2003, Rolando’s ambition led him to a new endeavor, developing residential property. His venture flourished into more than 60 residential development projects throughout Dade, Broward, Orange, Seminole, Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Volusia counties. Rolando’s expertise
includes land purchases, project financing, rezoning, new construction, and individual mortgage loans for the builder division. Rolando’s residential development projects range from 40 to 1,100 units with 500 – 3,050 sq. ft. per unit, generating $1.825 billion in sales in just 4.5 years.
Currently, Rolando also owns and presides over Columbus Capital Lending (CCL), a mortgage lending institution with over one-hundred seventy employees and production volume of over $40 million a month. CCL has several established locations in South Florida and spans up through Central Florida.
